Play For Woodstock Town Football Club
We are always on the look out for players who want to join us. We currently have 2 mens teams and are in the process of establishing an over 50's team as well as looking at returning youth and junior football to the town.
Our Mens 1st team play in the Uhlsport Hellenic League Division 2 whilst our Under 23 Development Team plays in Division 1 of the Oxfordshire Senior League.
We are looking for players with experience of playing step 7 football or above and also from young players who want to progress into mens football. We would particularly like to hear from players based in Woodstock and the surrounding villages. We are a community club and would like as much representation from the community as possible. For too long, our home grown players have played for local rival teams without any realistic prospect of progression and where they are not cared for or looked after. What we are saying is "come home".
There are plenty of benefits of playing for Woodstock in comparison to other local teams:
We won’t charge you to play ✅
You won’t have to put goals up ✅
You won’t have to take goals down ✅
No kit to wash ✅
Everything provided on match day ✅
Friendly and inclusive culture ✅
Supportive club committee ✅
Perfect playing surface all year ✅
Financially sound and sustainable ✅
We value young players and development ✅
A real link between the two teams ✅
Great social and events ✅
A club with history and pedigree ✅
Why not come down to a training session and take a look. We have big plans and expectations for the coming season and you could be a big part of it!

Volunteer at Woodstock Town
As a club at the heart of the local community, we want as much involvement and input from the good people of Woodstock as possible. Our club is run by volunteers and the good will of the public. We would appreciate any help whatsoever at all levels of the club, from being on the commitee and helping to run the off field activities and direction of the club, working behind the bar, preparing and serving food through to coaching and match day tasks. If you can give up a few hours a month to help YOUR community football club, we would love to hear from you.
We would especially like to hear from people interseted in running junior football teams (under 5's and upwards) as well as qualified football coaches.
