Woodstock V Brimscombe and Thrupp Development Preview

Town will be looking to complete an unlikely double over fellow strugglers Brimscombe and Thrupp later this afternoon, indeed, if they can complete this feat, it will be only the second win of the season.

The two teams have met twice this season, both in Gloucestershire with honours even across the 2 games. Woodstock lost out in the cup but managed to secure all three points in the league fixture with a 5-3 victory that the reds conspired and thankfully failed to throw away at the death after leading 4-0 with 10 to play.

Brimscombe are a more than capable side with a number of very good players including a big and strong ball player in the middle of the park who is able, if allowed, to dominate games.

Woodstock have a number of injury doubts and withdrawals with Ryan Chambers unable to play but we welcome new signing Will McEachran who comes into contention for a start. Charlie Collins has managed to move around holiday plans and might also feature today.

It will be a tough one and could go either way. This one will come down to which team wants it more.

Join us from 2pm this afternoon for a 3pm kick off at New Road.

The bar will be open and hot and cold food and snacks available (still no vegan sausage rolls)

Possible Squad From: Cullen, Knight, Collins, Emmett, McEachran, Shirley, Haynes, Pande, Kelly, S Pike, K Pike, Spackman, Pande, Hawkins, Walker, M Pike, Morgan
