Woodstock Town Needs You!

As one season comes to a close (only 1 game left for the 1st team), it’s time to start thinking about next season. We are looking for players to add to our 1st team and development squads. Ideally you will have experience of playing at Oxfordshire senior league (or equivalent) standard or above and/or be under the age of 23 for our Development side where you will get the chance to play, develop and hone your skills with a view to moving up into the first team. We have already demonstrated this season that we are committed to developing young players and give them the experience they need in senior football in a nurturing and supportive environment. The men’s first team are looking for players who have experience of playing Hellenic League (or equivalent level). After a season of consolidation, we are now looking to move on and not just make up the numbers. There are exciting developments behind the scenes and we need to make sure that our team on the pitch reflects that ambition. We have a young squad who have had somewhat of a baptism of fire this season but there is quality within the team and we are looking to add to that. If you fancy a challenge at a friendly club that is going places the Woodstock Town could well be the place for you. We have already secured commitment from several new players but we need more as football is a squad game. As a club at the heart of the community, we are particularly interested in players from Woodstock. For too long, the best and most talented players in the town have plied their trade elsewhere. It’s time to come home!! If you don’t fancy playing but would like to get involved in the club or you’d like to advertise or sponsor us, we’d love to hear from you too! If you’re interested, call us on 07771926975 or fill out an enquiry form on this website.
