Weekend Preview

Both teams are away from home this weekend and are up against stiff tests.

The 1st team will be looking to make it 5 league wins out of 5 when they travel to Chinnor, who despite being without a win so far this term managed to push league leaders all the way and made them work hard for a narrow 2-1 win.

Town are without Charlie Collins, James Ward, William (all unavailable) and Will Spackman who is still recovering from a fractured wrist sustained in the win against Moreton Rangers last time out.

Jamie Fisher will come into the reckoning subject to his transfer being processed in time. Tom Molloy continues in goal due to Sam Jeffrey’s injured hand. Jacob Short and Josh Cox return to the squad following a successful showing in the Development Teams victory against Kidlington last Saturday.

Fresh from their demolition of local rivals Kidlington last weekend, The Development Team make the long trek to Middleton Cheney looking to capitalise on the spirit shown in the second half of the derby when they overturned a 2 goal deficit. Start of the show Carl Shirley will be hoping for a start this time out for Oliver’s second string.
