The undefeated Reds travel to Banbury on Tuesday evening to take on in form Easington Sports Development (kick off 7.30pm)
In a league that “doesn’t do” midweek games, Woodstock Town play under lights for the first time this season at Addison Road where Easington currently sit 5th in the table and will be looking to get three points to keep pace with the teams at the top.
Ollie Hawkins is still out with an ankle injury and Fraser Day is unavailable. Spanish striker William returns to the squad as does Charlie Collins who was abuser the from the last game against Headington Amateurs. Patryk Wartalski also looks set to return and will be hoping to add to the 5 goals he already has this season.
Town will need to put in a better performance than they did against Amateurs at the weekend if they are to get anything from the game. Easington are a very good side who try to play football and know where the back of the net is.
There is likely to be a pitch inspection tomorrow due to the rain forecast overnight but we will keep you informed of any developments in that respect.
Three points are needed to extend Woodstock’s lead at the top of the table and increase the pressure on Adderbury and Southam who travel to the Neil Roberts Arena on Saturday for a promotion six pointer.
We would like as many supporters over in Banbury tomorrow night to get behind the boys and hopefully cheer them on to another vital victory to cement their place as leaders of Hellenic League Division Two North.
