Woodstock Town Football Club Community Fund

We are launching a Go Fund Me campaign to help our local community through a very difficult time.

We are living in an unprecedented set of circumstances. Communities up and down the country are facing challenges in light of the COVID19 pandemic, particularly in caring for the elderly and vulnerable. Local businesses are also set to suffer.

At Woodstock Town Football Club we feel that we have a moral responsibility to help out and support our community in the best way that we can. We have suspended all football activity and will use the time and resources normally directed towards football to help and support those within Woodstock who need it.

We have offered the time and wide skills base of our playing and coaching staff (many of whom are tradesmen) to help the more vulnerable members of our town should they need it.

We want to go further. We want to create a fund that allow us to deliver on this promise but also invest the money back into local businesses in Woodstock.

If an elderly or disabled person needs emergency provisions, we want to be able to buy them, where possible, from local shops in Woodstock and at no cost to that individual.

If a vulnerable person needs to visit the hospital or doctors and needs a taxi, we hope to be able to subsidise that journey in partnership with our club sponsor Townhouse Travel and Tours.

Should someone need our help with emergency repairs, we would like to cover the costs of parts and materials.

We would also like money available to help out where we can should people suffer hardship as a result of Coronavirus.

Its important that we all look after each otherand that Woodstock comes together to get through this crisis

Should there be any money left over after the pandemic has subsided and conditions improved, we will distribute it to local charities and good causes.

Please give what you can to help us help our community.

Thank you
