Woodstock Town Achieve Charter Standard Status

October 8, 2019

We are pleased to announce that the Club has been awarded the Adult Club Charter Standard by the FA.

To achieve this, we have had to reach and evidence a number of standards to show good compliance and that the Club is being run along sound and sustainable lines.

We want to ensure that Woodstock has a football club for years to come and this award is an indication that we are heading in the right direction and we’re very pleased that we have managed to attain this.

We have been working hard off the pitch to make sure that every aspect of the club both on and off the pitch meets the stringent criteria set out by the FA and we are proud to be able to say that we have passed the test.

Our future aspirations will be to return youth football to the town and to eventually work towards the FA Community Club Charter Standard. There will be a lot of work to be done to achieve this, but with the continued support of the community and of the Oxfordshire FA, we hope that this is something that we can move towards over the next few years.

We would like to thank our Director of Football Bob Ward for all of his hard work on this project as well as thanking the Oxfordshire Football Association for their assistance in helping us achieve this standard.
